The territory, which covers the entire rivière au Saumon watershed, is a virtual natural corridor linking Mount Orford Provincial Park in the south, to the rivière au Saumon’s mouth in the north. This sub-watershed of the Saint Francis River covers a territory of more than 290
and is entirely privately owned.
Selected because of exceptional geo-physical characteristics, large tracts of unfragmented forest and significant amount of biodiversity, the rivière au Saumon watershed is a privileged eco-region for the creation of a protected natural corridor.
